AN ELEGANT MICRO WEDDING AT GUILDHALL, BATH DURING COVID

Catherine and Dylan met through work 3 years ago in London, and have been together ever since. Dylan was actually planning to travel and move Australia when they met, but after dating for a month or so, he decided to stay in the U.K. with Catherine instead!

They were such a lovely couple, who went with the flow and made the best of their day despite the covid restrictions in place.

A MICRO WEDDING DURING COVID

Catherine and Dylan were planning on having a big festival wedding, but with Covid restrictions in place, they decided to go ahead with a small registry office wedding on the day at Guildhall, a Bath Registry Office and postpone the festival celebration. Guildhall is an 18th century Grade I listed Georgian wedding venue, which features magnificent Bath architecture, with grand staircases and sumptuous plasterwork.

THE THEME

Their wedding theme was very elegant and classic, so we found some amazing locations with earthy tones all around Bath to capture their love.

Although it rained all day, and there were some difficulties getting to the venue with road closures, we ended up getting so many beautiful shots. In fact, getting caught in the rain only added to the magic, and the autumn trees were gorgeous.

THE WEDDING

Despite the many changes made to their wedding plans with Covid restrictions, their Bath wedding turned out to be so much better than they had imagined. Catherine and Dylan had such a great day with their family and later decided not to go ahead with the festival celebration after all.

COIVD WEDDINGS CAN BE JUST AS SPECIAL

Even though it may be a little stressful trying to put everything together during this uncertain time, there are still plenty of ways to make your wedding unique and special to you. Catherine and Dylan’s wedding is such a perfect example of Covid weddings turning out to be just as amazing as you had initially planned.
