ICONIC OLD MARYLEBONE TOWN HALL WEDDING

Dom and Vy are absolute sweethearts. They met, they fell in Love and the rest was history. They wanted an intimate wedding with only their closest friends and family. So an Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding was the perfect choice.

I love that they arrived together for the ceremony and helped one another get ready. It can be so lovely for a bride and groom to spend the morning together. They never let themselves forget that their wedding is about the two of them together, nothing else.

GETTING READY

Once we arrived, I spent some time with the two of them in on the the Old Marylebone Town Halls beautiful rooms. We took photographs of the details and their final touches as they prepared to say 'I do'. Even if I'm not photographing the bride getting ready, I always make sure to get some individual portraits and lovely details before the ceremony.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony was lovely. The Old Marylebone Town Hall really know how to put on a ceremony! They were so well organised and angels to work with. The ceremony felt so special and perfect for Dom and Vy. The Pimlico room is gorgeous and they said 'I do' without a hitch!

PORTRAITS

The best thing about photographing a wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall? Portraits out the front! If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend because the building is stunning. I love the pillars and the way the light hits them, the gorgeous doors and of course the epic lions on each side of the entrance!

RECEPTION

Once Dom & Vy managed to pry me away from the lion statues, we continued on to their reception. It was at the epic Smith and Wollensky in Covent Garden. A beautiful venue and also the perfect spot to go adventuring and getting some urban couple portraits. We walked across to waterloo bridge and back, photographing along the way before heading back in to the reception.

Smith and Wollensky is a beautiful 1920s art deco style steak house. The interiors are insanely beautiful and the low lighting ambiance is elegant and intimate. Dom and Vy were lovely enough to include me in their seating plan so I got to enjoy their friends company, soak up the atmosphere and of course, the delicious food! It was such a fun night - such a great crowd and such an amazing couple! Thank you for having me Dom and Vy!
