TOP CHRISTCHURCH WEDDING VENDORS
Despite the multiple ordeals Christchurch has been through in the last 10years, it still remains one of my all time favourite cities. Photography wise, it’s an absolute dream for so many reasons - but that’s another blog post! Here I wanted to shout out to some of my personal top wedding vendors in the gorgeous Christchurch region.
COSSARS WINESHED
A family owned Christchurch wedding venue, Cossars Wineshed oozes natural beauty and vineyard charm. The Manager, Safia will have your day running as smooth a silk as you celebrate your big day in a little piece of paradise. At Cossars, you can choose from three different ceremony locations and pick how to use each part of the property as you wish. The options include their beautiful courtyard setting in front of the barn doors, a clearing amongst the grapevines or the lawn next to the courtyard overlooking vines, roses and lavender. They are as flexible as they are efficient and every wedding has it’s own unique set up.
Photography wise, the entire property is ridiculously picturesque. It feels like you’re in you’re in your own mini Tuscany at this beautiful Christchurch wedding venue. I loved exploring with Kate & Lance at their recent wedding and finding gorgeous settings around every corner. From the never ending vines to olive trees, fields, rustic buildings and a gorgeous swing, the possibilities are endless!
DEBBIE HAWKER - THE BEST CELEBRANT EVER!
Debbie is absolutely amazing and must-have for your Christchurch wedding. Your choice of celebrant is super important as they set the mood for they day. A good celebrant can be the difference between your guests laughing and cheering you on as you marry the love of your life…and your guests falling asleep in their chairs. Debbie is professional but entertaining, on point with every detail and hilarious all the while. She really brought a fun vibe to Kate and Lance’s wedding while making those tear-jerker moments all the more tear jerking.
ASHLEIGH JANE SKIN & BEAUTY
Ashleigh and Georgie from Ashleigh Jane Skin & Beauty did an amazing job with Kate and her bridesmaids hair and makeup. She was lovely to work with and really took extra care and attention to detail to make sure the girls were feeling gorgeous and confident! Cressy and Charmed make stunning bouquets, among many of their talents! Kate’s bouquet was stunning and exactly what she’s dreamed of. I loved photographing such a beautiful arrangement which complimented Kate’s wedding style so perfectly. CAKES BY ANNA
Beautiful delicious cakes by an uber cool chic - what more could you want?! Anna makes gorgeous natural wedding cakes which are fondant and gimmick-free! The modern take on wedding cakes we’ve all been searching for. Kate and Lance went for the Orange and fennel flavour, and I can confirm every single crumb was eaten with joy.
PUREE - PROFESSIONAL COVER BAND
We ended the night with the best Christchurch wedding band! Puree were awesome, playing all the hits, it was hard to keep off the dancefloor! The perfect end to a magical day.
